Fight for Air Climb – WMMC

At White Memorial Medical Center, we’re passionate about doing all we can to enhance and improve the health and wellness of the community serve. On April 16, we’ll live out this commitment when Team WMMC hits the stairs and participates in the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb. We’ve been training and we’re ready to take on the stairs at the Aon Building in downtown Los Angeles. You can join Team WMMC or train and participate on your own. Stroke Center Certification – GAMC

As one of the leading causes of death and disability in the U.S., stroke is a serious threat to the health and wellbeing of our community. That’s why Glendale Adventist Medical Center has made a strong commitment to providing stroke care that meets and exceeds national standards. In fact, we’ve just become the first hospital in California certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by DNV GL Healthcare USA, Inc. This prestigious accreditation demonstrates that our stroke program exceeds patient safety standards set by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association.

Mission Armenia Fundraiser – GAMC

At Glendale Adventist Medical Center, our medical missions to Armenia are a very important way for us to live out our compassion and caring in the world. That is why we were so was honored to have Greg, Caroline, Savey & Ralph Tufenkian host a fundraising event in September to support our Mission Armenia trip to Noyemberyan Hospital. Supporters from the event recently gathered at GAMC to hear the memorable stories about the life-saving medical mission work carried out by our physicians, nurses, support personal and the Armenia Fund. A BIG thank you to everyone!
