Glendale Adventist Rises in Ranks

Glendale Adventist Medical Center’s “Therapy & Wellness Center” has been voted BEST in the Los Angeles Daily News Readers Choice awards for 2016.

Glendale Adventist was also named among the top-performing hospitals in Los Angeles as well as the entire state of California by U.S. News & World Report. We were specifically singled out as being “high performing” in the categories of geriatrics, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics and pulmonology.

“This is evidence that we’re doing the right things,” our CEO, Kevin Roberts noted. “It gives us the courage to keep working hard and achieve these kinds of results for the patients.”

You can be part of our award-winning team!  We’re holding an Open House on Wednesday, September 21 from 8:00am-3:00pm in our Human Resources office. We have a particular need for nurses in Med/Surg, Telemetry, Women’s, Critical Care & Psych. If you think you are a good fit we’d love to see you there!

As one of the leading causes of death and disability in the U.S., stroke is a serious threat to the health and wellbeing of our community. That’s why Glendale Adventist Medical Center has made a strong commitment to providing stroke care that meets and exceeds national standards. In fact, we’ve just become the first hospital in California certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by DNV GL Healthcare USA, Inc. This prestigious accreditation demonstrates that our stroke program exceeds patient safety standards set by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association.
