It’s National CRNA Week! Whether in the operating room, intensive care or an outpatient surgery center, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists serve a vital patient care role. Over 52,000 strong, our nation’s CRNAs safely administer approximately 43 million anesthetics every year.

January is National Blood Donor Month

Every day, 36,000 units of blood are needed in the United States. Whether it’s for cancer treatment, transfusions or traumatic injuries, patients everywhere rely on blood donations. To meet these needs, nearly 11 million people donate blood each year.
