Are you looking for an organization that offers an unmatched variety of clinical and non-clinical roles where you can make a positive difference in people’s lives? You’ll find it at Simi Valley Hospital.
More than fifty years ago, a country doctor and a group of forward-thinking residents had a vision for their small towns of Simi and Santa Susana: They would create a special place of healing in the picturesque valley they called home.
Together, John Owsley Jones and the community members presented a proposal to the Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in the early 1960s to build a healthcare facility to meet the needs of their growing community. That place would become Simi Valley Hospital. Today, we continue our mission of faith as we strive to enhance the health and wellness of the communities we serve. As part of Adventist Health Southern California Region, we have the resources and support to do more for our patients and their families than ever before.
Simi Valley Hospital is a 188-bed facility with more than 1,000 employees, physicians and volunteers. Together, we deliver a wide range of patient care services including:
We continue to expand our capabilities and enhance our service offerings to meet the needs of our dynamic community:
$120-Million Campus Renovation. We recently launched an ambitious building program that has already brought new facilities, the latest technology, and new and expanded services—and will continue to do so well into the future.
Nancy Reagan Breast Center. Our center is designated as one of only two Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence in Ventura County. Here, we offer a wide range of services to help women in our community live healthier lives.
New $41-Million Emergency Pavilion. Thanks to a generous donation from the Thakkar family, our new Emergency Department will be state-of-the-art and will more than double our emergency capabilities—enabling us to care for more patients with shorter wait times.
New Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Our $27-million, state-of-the-art cath lab is Ventura County’s first hybrid facility that can seamlessly convert for open heart surgery when the patient’s condition warrants it.
Stroke Center. The Joint Commission, the nation’s top health care accrediting body, has certified us as a primary stroke center.
Top Home Care Services. As the area’s only not-for-profit, our top-rated home care services are crucial to helping our patients experience a full recovery in the comfort of their own homes.
