A Tour Down Memory Lane for Retired Adventist Health Glendale Nurses
Did you know that back in the day, Adventist Health Glendale had a nursing school? Recently, Lucy Madatyan, physician development manager, had the privilege of taking the class of 1963 on a tour down memory lane.
“It was so wonderful for our retired nurses to visit our hospital,” Lucy says. “As you can imagine, after 55 years, nothing was the same. The buildings were different, technology was different, but one thing remained the same — the people. We have such compassionate nurses and everyone was so welcoming and took time to share information with the group.”
A special thank you to Lucy, who spent her afternoon with these amazing ladies, and all the AHGL associates who participated in the tour and helped make our retired nurses’ tour a memorable one!
