Join us at the Evidence-Based Practice Symposium 2018!

We are excited to be hosting The Evidence-Based Practice Council at Adventist Health White Memorial on July 18, 2018. We are extending a warm invitation to healthcare professionals in leadership, nursing, other interdisciplinary professionals, and nursing students to this inaugural evidence-based practice symposium, Transforming Nursing Care in the Community Hospital: The Case for Evidence-Based Practice.

We are honored to be joined by keynote speaker, Dr. Ellen Fineout-Overholt, distinguished professor of nursing at the University of Texas and respected author and speaker on evidence-based practice, who will enlighten us with her experiences and groundbreaking ideas related to the implementation of EBP within a system.

The symposium will take place at the California Endowment Center in Los Angeles. Speakers and breakout sessions will explore the foundation, development, and future implementation of evidence-based practice at the community hospital level, while providing the information necessary for a system-wide application.

Attendees will be provided with the skills necessary to utilize evidence-based practice to have maximum impact on safety and quality outcomes. Breakout sessions for practitioners from novice to expert will provide the tools required for successful implementation and to ensure the sustainability of evidence-based practice within the community hospital.
